Botox: The Complete Guide

Everything you need to know (without the scary words)

2 min read

First of all, it’s important to understand: Botox is the foundation of everything

Think of Botox as the “mortar” or foundation of a building. Before moving on to acid injections, volume enhancement, or improving skin texture, we need to calm the foundation. Botox prepares the ground, smooths the surface, and ensures that every follow-up treatment you have will look much better and last longer. It’s the first step on the way to a refreshed look.

What happens if you decide to stop getting injections?

This is one of the most common concerns, and the answer is simple: nothing! If you choose not to get another injection, things won’t get worse at all. Your skin and muscles will simply gradually return to their original state, as they were before the treatment. In fact, you’ve gained time during which the muscle was relaxed and the wrinkle didn’t deepen.

Is Botox dangerous or does it affect your facial expressions?

Not at all. When used carefully and correctly, it’s completely safe. Botox is injected in a very low concentration and in a targeted way.

The real bonus? With my approach, you keep your natural expressions. You can still smile, laugh, and express emotion—just without the accompanying wrinkles.

My treatment: two appointments for a perfect result

It’s important to me that you leave completely satisfied, so the treatment includes:

  1. The injection itself: the appointment during which we perform the precise treatment.

  1. Follow-up (at no cost): After about two weeks, you are invited to a follow-up appointment where we will check the final result and make minor adjustments if needed.

Is Botox injection painful?

You can barely feel it. I use an especially fine needle (similar to an insulin needle), so the prick is minimal. For sensitive patients, the area can be numbed beforehand so you can feel as comfortable as possible.

Botox is not just about aesthetics – advanced medical solutions:

Botox is also an effective treatment for issues such as excessive sweating (in the armpits and palms), migraines, jaw clenching (Bruxism), and improving a gummy smile (Gummy Smile).

Important post-treatment instructions:

To prevent the Botox from wearing off too quickly, it is important to follow these guidelines during the first 24 hours:

  • Avoid alcohol and makeup.

  • Keep your body temperature normal: no workouts, very hot showers, saunas, or hot tubs (high temperatures cause the substance to leave the body quickly).

  • Avoid vigorous massage of the treated area.

Proper maintenance: When is it recommended to repeat the treatment?

Here’s a hard-and-fast rule: don’t get another injection until at least 4 months have passed. Injections that are too frequent may cause the body to develop antibodies, which can make Botox stop “working” in the future. Once 4 months have passed and you see the muscle starting to move again—that’s the exact right time for another treatment.

Is the treatment medically approved?

Of course. All the products have received approval from the U.S. FDA, the European CE, and the Israeli Ministry of Health.
